Jessica Stephens is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in internal communications, social media management, and public engagement. Currently serving as an Internal Communications Consultant at the National Trust since March 2023, Jessica has also held significant roles at the Joseph Rowntree Foundation, including Internal Communications Manager and Social Media Manager. Jessica's volunteering experience at York Museums Trust highlights a commitment to engaging the public with history and art. With a solid educational foundation in History and Information and Library Management from the University of Liverpool and Northumbria University, Jessica has developed and executed various communications strategies and campaigns throughout their career, demonstrating expertise in digital content creation and community management.

York Museums Trust was formed on 1 August 2002 as an independent charitable trust to manage the museums and gallery service previously run by City of York Council. Supported by the Council, York Museums Trust is responsible for York Art Gallery, York Castle Museum, Yorkshire Museum and Gardens and York St Mary’s.
