Anna Lacourt

Anna Lacourt currently serves as Supervisor of Wastewater Operations for York Region, overseeing a team of seven operators and managing performance in a unionized environment. Anna possesses extensive experience in wastewater management, having previously held the role of Acting Supervisor in the same field and worked as a Process Optimization Engineer. Prior experience includes positions at Ramboll Environ as a Consultant and Senior Consultant and at the University of Toronto as a Research Assistant and Graduate Student, where Anna specialized in the bioremediation of groundwater and developed advanced molecular techniques for environmental monitoring. Anna holds a B.A.Sc. in Chemical Engineering with a focus on Bioengineering and an M.Eng. in Chemical Engineering, specializing in Bioremediation, from the University of Toronto.
