Barbara Prud'Homme

Barbara Prud'homme is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in health promotion and community health services. Currently serving as Program Manager at York Region since October 2016, Barbara has held various roles including Manager (Acting) for Community Capacity and Funding and Program Manager for Strategic Department Communications and Engagement. Prior to this, Barbara contributed to the Ontario Public Health Association as Knowledge Management & Communications Coordinator, enhancing capacity building for public health professionals. With a background in strategy and planning as Senior Analyst at Cancer Care Ontario and market research as Senior Market Research Analyst at Millennium Research Group, Barbara possesses a diverse skill set in communication and program development. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences from Queen's University and certification as a Holistic Health Coach from the Institute For Integrative Nutrition, with ongoing studies for an Executive Diploma in Municipal Management from AMCTO.
