Bob Parry

Bob Parry is a data access and quality specialist currently employed by York Region, focusing on the management of the York Region Open Data Portal and the Data Catalogue. Previously, Bob served as a data and analytics analyst at the City of Richmond Hill, where the creation of automated workflows and dashboards facilitated data-driven decision-making, alongside the design of the Data Management Strategy. Bob has also held roles as a GIS technologist at York Region, business development associate, and applications support specialist at Avenza Systems, GIS support analyst at Bell, and president of the New College Student Council at the University of Toronto. Bob holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Political Science from the University of Toronto and a Geographic Information Systems Applications Specialist diploma from Fleming College.
