Darryl Young

Darryl Young, RPP, MCIP, currently serves as a Sustainable Transportation Specialist at York Region, a position held since August 2016. Prior experience includes roles as the Active Transportation and TDM Coordinator at Halton Region from November 2012 to July 2016, and Transportation Planner at Cole Engineering Group from July 2011 to November 2012. Additional positions include serving as Passenger Outreach Team Leader at GO Transit, Transportation Planner at LEA Group, Planner at AECOM, and Assistant Language Teacher with the JET Programme Canada. Darryl holds a Bachelor's degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from Toronto Metropolitan University and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Urban Studies from York University.
