David Mhango

David Mhango, MScEng, P.Eng., currently serves as the Manager of Development Engineering at The Regional Municipality of York since April 2015. Prior to this role, David was the Manager of Development Engineering at the City of Markham from April 2011 to April 2015. David's extensive experience in the field began with a position as Chief Technical Officer and Water Resources Department Manager at Schaeffers Consulting Engineers from July 2000 to April 2011, and earlier as an Engineering Hydrologist at Babtie Group from January 1999 to June 2000. Academic contributions include serving as a Civil Engineering Graduate Researcher and Assistant at the University of Strathclyde and as a University Lecturer at the University of Malawi. David holds a Master’s Degree in Water Resources Engineering from the University of Strathclyde and a Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Water Resources from the University of Malawi.
