Emily Jardine

Emily Jardine serves as the Policy & Compliance Coordinator at York Region (The Regional Municipality of York) since January 2016. Responsibilities include reporting, approvals, procedures, policies, auditing, training, and ensuring compliance in water, wastewater, solid waste, and forestry sectors. Emily has also acted as Compliance Research and Initiatives Advisor, providing strategic compliance research and program improvements, and served as Acting Program Manager to support a team with compliance reporting responsibilities. Prior experience includes chairing the Environmental Stewardship Committee in Whitchurch-Stouffville and working as a Quality Control Officer for the City of Toronto, where compliance with sewer and water regulations was monitored. Additionally, Emily taught therapeutic horseback riding to children with disabilities while at CanTRA. Emily holds a B.Sc. Honours degree in Biology from the University of Guelph.
