Fiona Chan has over a decade of experience in financial modeling, policy analysis, and budget management within local government and private sectors. Currently serving as Supervisor of Development Charges Policy at York Region, Fiona specializes in quantitative analysis to forecast development charge rates and revenue impacts, collaborating with various departments and levels of government to enhance public policies. Previous roles include positions at State Street as a Pricing Specialist and Vistaar Capital as a Real Estate Investment Analyst, where Fiona demonstrated expertise in pricing models and investment analysis. With a Master’s degree in Financial Economics from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor’s degree in Honours Economics from the University of Waterloo, Fiona possesses a strong academic background complemented by extensive professional experience.
