Joanne Armstrong

Joanne Armstrong, CIAPP-P AMCTO, has extensive experience in technology project management and systems support, currently serving as Acting Manager in the Digital Customer Experience Branch at York Region since June 2009. Previous roles include program management in various capacities, such as technology project and systems support, supply chain innovation, and privacy compliance within the Community and Health Services sector. Joanne's responsibilities encompass the development of policies, procedures, and guidelines related to privacy management, team leadership, and project management for electronic document management systems. In earlier positions at York Region, Joanne managed numerous ITS system implementations and provided administrative support to senior leadership. Joanne holds multiple certificates, including a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and a Municipal Administration Program Certificate from AMCTO.
