Karen Lopes

Karen Lopes has extensive experience in program management and process improvement within the public sector, currently serving as Program Manager for Strategy, Research and Initiatives at York Region since 2007. Previous roles at York Region include Supervisor of Process Improvement and Administration, Business Process Specialist, and Project Support Coordinator, among others. Prior to this, Karen Lopes gained experience in customer service at TD Bank Group from 2003 to 2007, holding positions such as Manager of Customer Service. Karen Lopes holds a BA Hons in Psychology and Sociology from York University, a Diploma in Social Work, and a Certificate in Human Resources Management, both from Seneca Polytechnic.
