Olena Shkarovska

Olena Shkarovska is an experienced legal professional specializing in construction law, currently serving as Associate Counsel for York Region and as a Teaching Faculty member at both Georgian College and Centennial College. Holding roles such as Member at Large for the Municipal Law Section of the Ontario Bar Association and previously as Assistant Town Solicitor for the Town of Innisfil, Olena's background includes significant positions at the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, where expertise in policy writing and business analysis was developed. Olena also contributed to pro bono efforts for newcomers affected by war in Ukraine and completed an articling position with Tribunals Ontario. Educational credentials include a Master of Laws from the University of Toronto and a Doctor of Law from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
