Rina Lamba R.n.

Rina Lamba R.N., B.ScN, MHS, MBA is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as the Director (A) of Public Health at York Region since 2003, with prior roles including Manager of COVID-19 HR Logistics and Manager of Public Health. Additionally, Rina co-founded and presides over Summit Leaders, a not-for-profit organization focused on democratizing access to entrepreneurship training for over 200 high school students from socio-economically challenged neighborhoods across Canada. Rina has also completed an internship at the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, developing stakeholder engagement sessions, and conducted a strategic assessment for the Toronto Central Local Health Integration Network as part of an MBA capstone project. Previously, Rina managed an annual operating budget and staff at York Region Maple Health Centre and worked as a Registered Nurse from 1998 to 2003. Rina's educational background includes multiple degrees from prestigious institutions such as the University of Toronto and Schulich School of Business - York University, with ongoing postgraduate studies at Dalla Lana School of Public Health.
