Sarah Thompson

Sarah Thompson is an experienced Continuous Quality Improvement Specialist currently working with the York Region since June 2014. Prior to this role, Sarah served as a Quality Management Specialist for the Region of Peel from October 2011 to June 2014, focusing on Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives and facilitating Quality Circles with Lean techniques. Previously, Sarah held the position of Process Quality Specialist at Research In Motion, where responsibilities included process improvement, training, and auditing under ISO standards. Sarah’s career began at Sterling Truck Plant as a Senior Quality Engineering Specialist, managing the Quality Management System and leading ISO audits. Academically, Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from Western University and a Project Management Certificate from Conestoga College.
