Venesse Lewis

Venesse Lewis is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public policy and administration. Currently serving as the Founder of Niya's Coily World since December 2023, Venesse is dedicated to empowering individuals with coily, kinky, and afro hair textures. At the York Region, involvement as a Senior Program Analyst, Senior Policy Analyst, and Research and Policy Analyst has spanned over six years, focusing on paramedic and senior services. Previous positions include a Municipal Intern at the City of Brooks and a Legal Assistant specializing in Municipal Law and Land Use Planning at Aird & Berlis LLP. Venesse also gained experience as a Law Clerk at Roach, Schwartz & Associates and as an intern in the Toronto Regional Champion Campaign with the City of Toronto. Academic qualifications include a Master's Degree in Public Policy, Administration & Law from York University and a Graduate Certificate in Law Clerk: Legal and Corporate Administration from Seneca Polytechnic, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government with a minor in Art History from the University of Toronto.
