Sophie Carter

Sophie Carter is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Science, Technology and Health at York St. John University since September 2018, focusing on undergraduate Sport and Exercise Physiology. Previously, Sophie served as a Teaching Support Officer at Liverpool John Moores University, providing laboratory support and co-delivering lectures. Additional roles include English Proof Reader for Radboud Annals of Medical Students, intern at Unilever Research and Development, and various positions at the University of Essex Sports Centre, where responsibilities included customer service, gym supervision, and sports instruction. Sophie holds a Ph.D. in Sport and Exercise Sciences from Liverpool John Moores University, an MSc in Sports and Exercise Science, and a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science, alongside a BTEC National Diploma in the same field.
