Amita Bhatia

Amita Bhatia has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Amita began their career at MADGE NETWORKS (previously Teleos Communications) in 1993 as a Member of Technical Staff, where they designed and developed new features for the Network Management Console. Amita also worked on development using Java for storing configuration information. In 1999, they joined Lucent Technologies as a Member of Technical Staff, working on GUI teams for web-based and Java-based management systems. Amita also took on project management responsibilities, coordinating between the development and documentation teams.

In 2005, Amita joined Future Skies as a Software Engineer, responsible for interfacing with customers, resolving issues, and attending status meetings for a PCI product. Amita then joined Marlboro First Aid in 2001 as a Life Member and CPR Instructor, volunteering and teaching CPR to new and existing members, as well as employees and friends.

Since 2006, Amita has been with Yorktel, starting as a Project Manager for AV/VC equipment installations. Amita later became a Maintenance Specialist and a Senior MPM-Team Lead, focusing on results-driven services management and improving project margins. Most recently, they have held roles as a Sales Operations Manager and currently as Director of Sales Operations. Amita excels in building and maintaining relationships with vendors and customers, both internally and externally.

Amita Bhatia has an AAS degree in Computer Science (Science option) from Brookdale Community College. Amita also has a BS degree in Biology from Kanpur University and a Bachelor's degree in Library Science from Lucknow University. Additionally, they have obtained certification in BLS EMTB and is an American Heart Association CPR Instructor from the American Heart Association's Professional Education Center.
