Dr Kathryn Scott

Dr. Kathryn Scott has extensive experience in the field of cancer research and leadership, currently serving as the Chief Executive of Yorkshire Cancer Research since July 2008, with a history of roles including Interim Chief Executive, Director of Research and Innovation, Head of Research Funding, and Research Liaison Officer within the organization. Prior to this, Dr. Scott was a Senior Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of York from July 2004 to July 2008 and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Leeds from October 1997 to June 2004. Dr. Scott earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Biology from The University of Manchester between 1991 and 1997.
