Shariq Mumtaz

Shariq Mumtaz is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in strategic management and commercial operations. Currently serving as the Managing Director at the Yorkshire Cricket Foundation since June 2025, Shariq provides overall leadership and oversees the Foundation's operations. Prior to this role, Shariq spent two decades at Emerald Group Publishing Ltd, where responsibilities included serving as Chief Commercial Officer with P&L accountability and leading diverse teams globally. Shariq also held positions such as SVP China & India, successfully managing regional teams and driving significant sales growth, and Business Manager Americas, where Shariq established new growth strategies and strengthened relationships with prestigious academic institutions. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in International Business from Leeds Metropolitan University and a Bachelor's degree in International Business and Japanese from Liverpool John Moores University.
