Dave Powell

Dave Powell is currently the Living Landscapes Officer for the Vale of York Reserves at Yorkshire Wildlife Trust since March 2019, focusing on nature reserve management. Prior experience includes serving as an Environmental Consultant at Arup, where involvement in significant projects such as HS2 and York Central Development occurred, alongside a research dissertation on sustainable community planning. Prior roles also include Estate Management at Queen Margaret's School, managing historic grounds, and progressing from Volunteer Park Ranger to Reserve Manager at St Nicholas Fields, overseeing various operational aspects and community engagement. Dave Powell holds a BSc in Countryside Management and Environmental Studies from Askham Bryan College and an MSc in Sustainability and Consultancy from the University of Leeds, among other educational qualifications.
