The role

We are looking for a full time Ecommerce Amazon Manager to manage our brand across multiple Amazon territories. This is a senior strategic role and important addition to our commercial team as our business size and global footprint continue growing. This role will report to our Commercial Director.

Having launched on Amazon UK in May 2020, we have quickly expanded and now trade across five Amazon territories (UK/US/CA/AU/FR). This role will involve managing our brand and range assortment over each of these territories to present our brand and products to customers in a consistent and effective manner. This role will see you set the Strategy and strategic direction while managing the rollouts into further Amazon regions will also be part of the role going forwards.

The role will involve complete end-to-end management of Yoto’s business via Amazon’s Seller platforms. The successful candidate will need to have a deep understanding of Amazon’s operating systems and be experienced in working effectively to deliver results.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Review and implement the Amazon strategy for the business whilst Managing and optimising the sales performance of existing listings under Yoto’s portfolio through the various Amazon tools that are available
  • Maintain and update Yoto’s brand store on Amazon
  • Complete new item set-ups on a regular basis with appropriate mapping to brand store
  • Work closely with marketing teams globally in managing a marketing budget spend through AMS
  • Provide reasonably accurate sales forecastsing across the various Amazon territories
  • Ensure robust processes are in place to manage FBA inventory levels
  • Improve operational performance through logistic efficiencies
  • Implement promo plans in-line with Yoto’s promotional calendar
  • Provide regular reporting on Amazon KPI’s
  • Have the ability to resolve issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Work effectively while remote to the office, as well as potential office-based work/visits

Candidate Profile:

  • Degree education preferred but not essential
  • An experienced Amazon specialist with deep knowledge of Seller Central, Amazon’s operating systems and Amazon’s marketplace
  • A background in either representing a brand or running their own Amazon FBA business
  • Experience in working across international Amazon territories
  • Be comfortable working remotely using a variety of cloud-based software solutions
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Track record of data analysis and presenting reporting internally and externally
  • Ability to work independently or in a team setting; ability to adjust to changing priorities
  • Excellent attention and orientation toward meticulous work
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Comfortable interfacing with all levels of the organization
  • Present positive attitude, strong work ethic and professionalism at all times
  • Flexibility to work outside ‘core’ business hours which may also include business travel
  • Friendly, outgoing, personable with a ‘hands-on’ mentality to deliver against targets
