Christopher Barrett

Christopher Barrett has worked in the energy and technology industries since 1993. Christopher began their career as an Associate Manufacturing Engineer at Ferrotec in 1993. In 1997, they moved to Brooks Automation as a Product Engineering Manager, where they developed strategic plans to penetrate new markets for new and existing products. In 2004, they became the Mechanical Engineering Manager at Ferrotec Corporation. Christopher then moved to netMercury Corporation in 2006 as the Strategic Sourcing Manager, where they developed and managed material outsourcing strategies for domestic and international manufacturing facilities. In 2008, they returned to Brooks Automation as the Product Support Manager, leading a global product support team of 15 people. In 2011, they joined SolarBridge Technologies as the Director of Technical Services. In 2015, they moved to APsystems Solar as the Director of Applications Engineering, delivering technical leadership in streamlining pre-sales activities and post-sales technical support. Finally, in 2022, Christopher Barrett became the Senior Director of Applications Engineering at Yotta Energy, a start-up based in Austin developing innovative solar and storage solutions for commercial applications.

Christopher Barrett obtained an Associate of Science degree in Electromechanical Drafting and Design from New Hampshire Technical College, Nashua in 1990. Christopher then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of New Hampshire, Keene in 1992. In 2012, they obtained an Apprentice Electrician certification from the State of Colorado.
