Omid Sadeghpour

Omid Sadeghpour has a long and varied work experience. Omid began their career in 2007 as a Software Engineer at Applied Proteomics, Inc., where they engineered a real-time laboratory information management system and invented a distributed, fail-safe, big data analysis pipeline. In 2009, they moved to Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where they managed the development of three internal applications, served as a liaison across scientific and engineering teams, and trained a team of eight software engineers. In 2012, they became the CEO & Co-Founder of Tree St., Inc., where they conceived and developed the product, business plan, and go to market strategy. Omid also led presentations to investors and sold eleven on-premise licenses. That same year, they interned at Biogen Idec. In 2013, they joined Samsung Electronics America as a Senior Staff Engineer, where they partnered with the Chief Innovation Officer and developed a geo-centric enterprise app. Omid also initiated an internal POC for Bluetooth Low Energy location-based services. In 2015, they moved to Merck as the Associate Director of Strategic Planning - Customer Alliance & Innovation - US Market. Finally, in 2018, they became the Chief Executive Officer of You Exec.

Omid Sadeghpour received a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley between 2002 and 2006. Omid then went on to receive a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the MIT Sloan School of Management between 2011 and 2013.
