Chris Hope

Chris Hope has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. Chris started their career as an Actuarial Student at Hewitt Associates in 2005. Chris then worked as an Actuarial Advisor at Suncorp Group from 2006 to 2009. Chris joined Youi Insurance as an Actuary in 2009 and served in that role until 2012. From 2012 to 2017, they worked at Homesite Insurance, first as a Regional Product/Pricing Manager and later as a Regional Product Director. In 2018, Chris joined Quantium as an Executive Manager, Insurance, focusing on data science. Chris later joined Youi Insurance again in 2019, first as an Actuarial Team Manager - Home, then as the Head of Product (Home), and currently as the Head of Claims Procurement since 2023. Their work experience highlights their expertise in actuarial analysis, product management, and procurement.

Chris Hope attended the University of Cambridge from 2001 to 2004, where they received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Maths. Chris then pursued further education at the Institute of Actuaries of Australia from 2005 to 2009, earning a degree in FIAA.
