Tharshan Karunakaran

Tharshan Karunakaran is an experienced account manager with a strong track record in customer relations and sales. Currently at YouLend since July 2023, Tharshan plays a key role in the existing customer team, having successfully funded over 3000 businesses with amounts exceeding 100 million. Previously, Tharshan was a Junior Account Manager at YouLend, focusing on enhancing client relationships. Prior to this, Tharshan worked at Currys plc from October 2014 to June 2023, advancing through several positions including Sales Team Lead, where responsibility included overseeing growth and development for up to 20 colleagues, and serving as a brand ambassador for both Microsoft and Apple. Tharshan holds a degree in Physiology and Pharmacology from the University of Leicester and completed GCSE and A Levels at Preston Manor High School & Sixth Form.
