Yara Owayyed

Yara Owayyed is an experienced legal professional currently serving as General Counsel at YouLend since September 2021, where responsibilities include directing complex cross-border funding structures and negotiating high-value partnership agreements with global platforms. Prior to this role, Yara worked at Allen & Overy as a Senior Associate specializing in US Corporate Finance and at Latham & Watkins as a US Capital Markets Associate. Yara's extensive background includes managing M&A, securities, and finance transactions at Paul, Weiss, and completing internships at the Library of Congress and the Israel Ministry of Justice. Educational achievements include an LL.M. from Columbia Law School and another LL.M. from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, complemented by a Bachelor of Laws from the College of Law and Business. Yara was also the first Palestinian-Israeli judicial law clerk at the High Court of Justice in Israel.
