Amit Bali

Amit is a Consultant Paediatrician with an expertise in epilepsy at Barts Health NHS Trust. He graduated from UCL in 2006, trained in London and has an MSc in Advanced Paediatrics and a Post Graduate Certificate in Leadership in Healthcare.

He has worked with Young Epilepsy since 2014, joining as a Darzi Fellow and later leading the ICE (Improving Care in Epilepsy) work, working in partnership with children and families. He has published papers calling for a holistic system of care for children and young people with epilepsy, advocating for this at a national policy level, and also chairing the Healthy London Partnership Epilepsy Standards for Children and Young People.

Amit joined the Young Epilepsy Trustee Board in November 2020.
