Rachel Rosen

Director Of Education at American Folk Art Museum

Rachel Rosen has a range of work experience in the field of education and art. From 2007 onwards, they worked at the American Folk Art Museum as the Director of Education and prior to that, they were a Museum Educator and Manager of School and Community Partnerships from 2007 to 2010. In 2007, they also worked briefly at Wave Hill as a Family Art Project Assistant. Before that, they worked at Sinai Akiba Academy as an Assistant Teacher from 2005 to 2006. From 2003 to 2005, they were the Art Studio Manager and Education Assistant at The Drawing Works. In 2002, they worked as an Artist Assistant at Juana Alicia Montoya Studio.

Rachel Rosen attended San Francisco State University from 1998 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History. Rachel later pursued further education at Bank Street College of Education from 2007 to 2009, obtaining a Master of Science in Education (MS Ed) degree. During their time at Bank Street College, Rachel focused their studies on Museum Education and Visual Arts.
