Jim Ohern

Jim OHern is an accomplished Area Developer at Young Life since January 2018, focusing on special needs outreach (Capernaum) and area development in Northeast Florida, while also advising the organization's Florida club for the sight-impaired. With a long-standing background in the nonprofit sector, Jim has been a Developer-Consultant and Business Peer Guide at Seamus since January 1995, specializing in the creation and empowerment of ventures, nonprofits, ministry structures, and small businesses. Jim previously served as Director and Developer at Young Life from 1983 to 1993, leading initiatives such as Young Life Capernaum and development in the Quad City IA/IL area, and pioneering church partnerships. Jim holds a Bachelor's degree from Flagler College and attended Fuller Theological Seminary.
