Svetlana Gorbacheva

Svetlana Gorbacheva is an experienced professional in the fields of philanthropy, strategy development, and gender equality initiatives. Currently serving as an Ambassador for GivingTuesday since November 2016, Svetlana has been instrumental in launching the #GivingTuesday campaign in Russia and developing e-philanthropy infrastructure. As a Strategy Development Consultant for Young Life, Svetlana leads R&D projects for territorial expansion and provides pro bono strategic support. Additionally, Svetlana is the NGO Strategist and FemTech project leader at Public Foundation Pharus, focusing on gender and economic equality. At the Russian State University for the Humanities, Svetlana conducts research on fundraising and NGO partnerships while writing a master's course on fundraising in NGOs. Previous roles include significant contributions at PHILIN AM LLC and Charities Aid Foundation, where Svetlana led e-philanthropy initiatives and developed key donor-supported programs. Educated in fundraising and journalism, Svetlana has also managed corporate social responsibility projects at PwC and contributed to EdTech initiatives at Yandex in collaboration with BBDO Group.
