David Evans

David Evans has extensive work experience in the field of human resources and people management. David currently holds the position of Director of People & Learning at Young Lives vs Cancer since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Shelter UK for more than 20 years, where they held various roles including Director for People from April 2010 to October 2021 and Head of Human Resources from November 2000 to April 2010. Before joining Shelter UK, they worked as an HR Officer at Harrods from December 1996 to November 2000.

David Evans earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from the University of Leicester in 1995. David then obtained a PgDiP Legal Practice (LPC) degree specializing in Legal from Chester College of Law in 1996. Later, in 2004, they completed a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Westminster.
