Laura Smith

Laura Smith has over 20 years of experience in human resources. Laura is currently serving as an Associate Director of People at Young Lives vs Cancer. Prior to this, they held various roles at The Brain Tumour Charity, including HR Manager, Head of Talent, and Director of Talent. Before that, Laura worked at Priory Group as a Senior HR Advisor and HR Manager, where they were responsible for supporting service users' health, care, education, and specialized needs. Laura also has experience at Pilgrims Group, a global security and risk management company, where they served as an HR Advisor and HR Manager. Laura began their career at Wentworth Club Ltd as an HR Administrator and HR & Training Officer, where they managed the training function and handled generalist HR activities.

Laura Smith is CIPD Qualified at a Level 7. Laura also has certifications in CIPD, Certificate in Personnel Practice, and PDS Stages 1 & 2 at a Level 7.
