Lu Caldara

Lu Caldara has over three decades of experience in community service and youth development, currently serving as a Senior Recreation Leader at Westchester County Parks, Recreation and Conservation since July 1991. Caldara is an Advisory Board Member for the NYC Council Navy League US and has been a Commanding Officer for River Towns Young Marines since February 2016, establishing a new unit within Westchester County to promote healthy lifestyles for youth. Engagement includes positions on the Board of Directors for the Navy League of the United States, membership in the Devil Dogs of NYC, and participation in the Patriot Housing Committee, which assists homeless veterans. Previous roles include a career at IBM as a Computer Programmer and Financial Analyst, complemented by a Bachelor's from Pace University and an Associate's degree from SUNY Westchester Community College.
