Young Marines
William Davis has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles. William served as the National Executive Director and CEO of Young Marines, where they implemented strategies to reduce drug use among American youth. Prior to that, they were the Commandant of the New Orleans Military and Maritime Academy, overseeing its successful start-up and operations. William also served as the Assistant Chief of Staff for Facilities at the United States Marine Forces Reserve, managing a large budget and overseeing operations across multiple locations. Additionally, they worked as the Operations Officer for the Joint Task Force Civil Support at the United States Northern Command, focusing on improving response capabilities in CBRN events. William also had roles at the US Marine Corps Headquarters, 24th Marines, and Supply Company, BSSG-1, where they demonstrated their leadership and logistics skills.
William Davis holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in National Security Strategy from the National War College (US), which they completed from 2003 to 2004. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Administration from Troy University, graduating in 1994. William'seducation journey began at the University of Washington, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics, studying from 1982 to 1987.

Young Marines
The Young Marines is a national non-profit 501(c)(3) youth education and service program for boys and girls, age eight through the completion of high school. The Young Marines promotes the mental, moral and physical development of its members. The program focuses on teaching the values of leadership, teamwork and self-discipline, so its members can live and promote a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. Young Marines units are community-based programs lead by dedicated adult volunteers. Many of these volunteers are former, retired, active duty, or reserve service members. The Young Marines is the proud recipient of the Department of Defense's Fulcrum Shield Award for Excellence in Youth Anti-Drug Programs. The year 2019 marks the 10th time the Young Marines have won the Fulcrum Shield. The award recognizes military-affiliated youth organizations around the world that have made concerted efforts at spreading anti-drug messages throughout their communities. Since the Young Marines' humble beginnings in 1959 with one unit and a handful of boys, the organization has grown to over 235 units with 8,000 youth and 2,500 adult volunteers in 40 states, the District of Columbia, Japan and affiliates in a host of other countries.
