Tim Staley

Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Tim Staley is responsible for the successful operation of the Association and its many branches, including member services, program development, childcare and community relations. As the leader of multiple collaborative teams at the YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg, he provides both strong operational and moral support to the organization.

The YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg is Tim’s seventh YMCA within his career and the third at which he has held a senior role. Throughout his Y experience, Tim has held leadership positions in the openings of three new YMCAs and also held a leadership role in the merging of the Ft. Lauderdale and Miami YMCAs (today’s YMCA of South Florida).

Tim attended Winona State University on a tennis scholarship, where he earned a BA in Recreation Administration.
