Kate Williamson

Kate Williamson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in development and political consulting. Currently serving as the Development Manager for the Young Women's Preparatory Network since July 2022, Kate previously held the role of Executive Director at the John Ben Shepperd Public Leadership Institute from May 2021 to July 2022. Prior to that, Kate spent over 13 years as a Political and Advocacy Consultant at Basin Hill Group. Kate's early career includes significant positions in the U.S. House of Representatives, where responsibilities included Legislative Assistant, Deputy Press Secretary, and Scheduler for notable representatives. Kate began a career in public service as a Staff Assistant at Public Strategies Washington, Inc. Kate Williamson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with a minor in Political Science from Texas Tech University, earned between 1999 and 2002.
