Omar Brown

Omar Brown is the current Managing Director at YoungAmericaCapital. Prior to this, they were with RedTail Capital Markets LLC from June 2014 to March 2017 as Managing Director, Investment Banking Capital Markets. Their focus there was on private equity/debt capital solutions for public and private companies. Before that, they were with BTIG from February 2012 to October 2012 as Director, Convertible Sales. In that role, they were a Senior Convertible Bond institutional relationship manager. From August 2010 to October 2011, they were with Cowen and Company as Director - Convertible Sales. And prior to that, they were with Kellogg Partners from May 2009 to August 2010 as Head of Convertible Sales where they managed convertible securities sales operation.

Omar Brown graduated from Amherst College with a BS in Economics. Omar then attended The Hill School.

Omar Brown reports to Peter Formanek, Founder & Managing Partner. They work with Traci E. Rhone - VP of Business Development, Jon Lunsford - Managing Director, and Gabriel Melamed - MD.
