Thomas Mikes

Thomas Mikes has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Thomas started their career as a Junior Analyst at Stifel Nicolaus in 2008. Thomas then worked as a Business Development Manager at Youngstown Kenworth Inc. from 2009 to 2011. In 2011, they founded Big Rig World and served as its Founder until 2014. Thomas then worked as a Corporate Strategy Associate at TechnipFMC in 2015. Thomas briefly worked as a Management Consultant at Maersk Management Consulting from 2016 to 2017 before taking on the role of Business Development Manager at A.P. Moller - Maersk in 2017-2018. In 2018, they joined Youngstown Kenworth as Vice President and later became the President in 2022. Additionally, they co-founded and became a partner at Wakamara Holdings Ltd in 2020, specializing in equipment rental and truck transportation in West Africa. Thomas is also a co-founder and partner at Coil Works Inc., a company they joined in 2022.

Thomas Mikes completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the London Business School in the years 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree with a focus on International Business Administration and Finance from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business, graduating between 2007 and 2011.
