Ron Cole

Ron Cole is the current Public Information Officer at Youngstown State University. Ron has held this position since August of 2013. Prior to that, they served as the Director of University Communications from July 2009 to August 2013. Before that, Cole was the Manager of News and Information Services at Youngstown State University from November 2002 to July 2009.

Cole's career began as a reporter at The Vindicator in November of 1989. Ron then moved to The Times where they worked in criminal investigations before moving on to The Herald-Press. Cole's first managerial position was at Kerrville Daily Times before they returned to Youngstown State University in 2002.
