James Vreeken

James Vreeken has a diverse work experience that spans over 15 years. James started their career in 2005 as a Photographer and Manager at fotoworX, where they managed day-to-day operations and utilized Adobe Photoshop to restore and retouch photographs. In 2007, they joined Veloz Skate Company as a Senior Web & Graphic Designer, where they created visually stunning websites and designed graphics for various projects.

From 2009 to 2011, James worked at SignCity Online as a Senior Graphic Designer and Web Designer. James designed high-impact graphics for a range of projects and managed the graphic department's day-to-day operations. James was also responsible for designing and maintaining the company's websites and IT systems.

In 2012, James worked at Blazonco as a Web Designer, where they collaborated with multiple departments to design websites and utilized platforms like HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, and Blazonco CMS. Later that year, they joined Adobe as a Demand Marketing Web Producer, International, focusing on landing pages, microsites, and HTML email development. James managed content on Adobe.com and worked on broad-scoped projects with functional impact.

In 2013, James joined Aviacode as a UI Designer. James then moved to ThomasARTS in 2015 as a User Experience Designer, where they facilitated and executed user experiences for clients by focusing on human-centered design, interaction design, and design research. James acted as a coach, mentor, and lead for internal teams and advocated for clients' needs.

From 2017 to 2018, James worked at TazWorks LLC as a Product Designer. James created a style guide and design system, and they guided a frontend team of 5 developers and 10 Java backend developers. James also re-designed and developed TazWorks.

Most recently, James joined Younique Products in 2018 as a Web Design Manager, where they oversee web design activities for the company.

Throughout their career, James has demonstrated expertise in various areas such as web design, graphic design, product design, and user experience design. James has worked with different platforms, frameworks, and software tools to create visually appealing and functional designs.

James Vreeken attended Utah Valley University from 2007 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Digital Media. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2005, they completed their Associate of Applied Science degree in an unspecified field of study at Utah Valley University. In 2002 and 2003, James also attended Salt Lake Community College, though it is unclear if they obtained a degree or studied a specific field. In terms of certifications, James became a Certified ScrumMaster through ScrumAlliance in March 2016.
