Brad Dotson

Brad is chief executive officer and founder of YOU POWER, the leading Storable Solar company. Brad has worked alongside energy consumers for decades helping them defend against monopoly utility pricing as a trendsetter in energy price risk management. Having built one of the first successful facilitators of Demand Response Programs in the nation, Brad founded YOU POWER to directly participate in the redesign of the nation's electric grid. A move away from fossil-fueled, centrally controlled, large power plants into a distributed network of regional microgrids that maximize choice for consumers and enhance the environment by reducing fossil-fueled generating plants. YOU POWER is leading the charge by enabling mass-market adoption of Storable Solar Electricity.

Brad and his wife have been married for over 30 years. Spending time with their family; Son, Daughter-in-law, Grandson, and Daughter is what he treasures most. Brad belongs to Horizon Church in Rancho Santa Fe California and considers it a privilege to serve on the boards of non-profit organizations that minister to children most in need of experiencing God’s love.
