Pekka Nurmela

Pekka Nurmela is an accomplished professional with a strong background in software development, project management, and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as a Board Member at Helsingin Yrittäjät ry, Pekka co-founded Youpret, which specializes in providing a comprehensive interpretation service through an automated system. As the CEO of Positive Productions Oy, Pekka focuses on delivering responsible and efficient software solutions while developing customized applications primarily for the Google Cloud. Previous roles include Partner at Streamforce Oy and Chairman of HYNY, where Pekka supported young entrepreneurs in Helsinki. With extensive experience stretching back to a programming role at North Karelia University, Pekka holds several specialist qualifications in product development and management, alongside a B.Sc. in Information Technology.
