Chris Luebkeman is the Head of the Strategic Foresight Hub at ETH Zürich since November 2019, supporting the institution in strategic planning and adaptation to change. Luebkeman has served as a member of the Research, Innovation and Enterprise Council since September 2022 and is the founder of [y]our 2040 since January 2020. Previous experience includes a long tenure at Arup, where Luebkeman held various senior roles, including Fellow and Director for Global Foresight, Innovation, and Incubation from September 1999 to June 2020. Additionally, Luebkeman founded and led the WEF-Global Agenda Council on Design from 2010 to 2014 and held academic positions at institutions such as MIT and the University of Oregon. Luebkeman's educational background includes a doctorate in architecture from ETH Zürich, a Master’s in Civil Engineering from Cornell University, and a Bachelor’s in Geology and Civil Engineering from Vanderbilt University.
