Karima Young has extensive experience in both educational and healthcare settings. At Your Healthcare CIC since October 2016, Karima has served as the Healthy Eating Programme Admin, managing administrative tasks for a large team and facilitating training sessions. Additionally, Karima has contributed as a peer supporter in the Infant Feeding Team, assisting mothers with breastfeeding and bottle-feeding information. Previously, Karima worked as a Supply Teacher for Prospero Teaching from April 2015 to June 2018, providing short-term coverage in various schools. Earlier experience includes a role with Croydon Council as a Key Stage Leader and Humanities Manager from June 2006 to July 2013, facilitating the coordination of key stage teaching and humanities curriculum.

Welcome to Your Healthcare CIC. We are a not for profit social enterprise, proud of delivering patient-led, high quality health and social care community services for residents in Kingston upon Thames. Working as a Community Interest Company (CIC), our status allows us to invest any surplus or profit back into front line services, where it is needed most by you, our community. As a health and social care provider, we work in partnership to provide over 40 services to the residents of Kingston. Some of our health care community services are: District Nursing, Health Visiting, School Nursing, Rehabilitation, Rapid Response, Continence, Respiratory, a Tissue Viability & Leg Ulcer clinic, Integrated Care, Learning Disability Services, Physiotherapy, Podiatry and Speech & Language provision. Our social care community services include; Reablement & Shared Lives Scheme (formerly Adult Placement Scheme). We currently deliver health and social care services on behalf of the Kingston Clinical Commissioning Group, other NHS organisations and local authorities.
