Christie Smith

Christie Smith is an experienced professional with a diverse background in quality assurance and clinical nursing. Currently serving as a Senior Quality Analyst at Aspire Software since May 2023, Christie has previously held roles including Quality Engineer and Product Owner at Allscripts from August 2017 to the present, along with a Quality Engineer position at Altera Digital Health from May 2022 to May 2023. Christie started a career in healthcare at SIU School of Medicine, working from August 2007 to August 2017 as a Clinical Informatics Specialist and Clinical Nurse. In addition, experience as a Registered Nurse includes tenure at HSHS St. John's Hospital from September 2001 to July 2007, focusing on maternal and newborn care, and on the Hospice Unit from April 2009 to October 2011. Christie’s nursing journey began as a Licensed Practical Nurse at James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital from June 1999 to August 2001.
