Brad Barton

Brad Barton has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Brad is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at YouScience since September 2021. Prior to this, Brad worked as the Chief Information Officer at the Center for Excellence in Higher Education from April 2020 to September 2021, where they led significant technology transformation initiatives such as implementing Salesforce CRM and data lake and data warehouse in AWS/Snowflake.

Before that, Brad worked as a Senior Technology Consultant at VCI from June 2019 to April 2020. Brad also held various leadership roles at Rio Tinto, including Senior Vice President IS&T Global Platforms, General Manager of I&OT Major Projects, General Manager Information Systems Applications, General Manager of Oyu Tolgoi Construction & Engineering Group, and Senior Manager of Oyu Tolgoi IT. Their responsibilities at Rio Tinto included implementing a data lake on the cloud, managing a large budget and staff, and supporting a single instance SAP environment.

Brad's earlier experiences include roles at Kennecott Information Systems, where they served as the Director, and at Brigham Young University, where they worked as a Unix Systems Administrator. Brad has demonstrated expertise in technology strategy, project management, and system implementation throughout their career.

Brad Barton has an MBA in Business from Brigham Young University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Westminster College. No specific start or end years were provided for either educational experience.
