Kate Weir

Kate Weir is an accomplished finance and communications manager with extensive experience in the charitable sector, currently working with Youth Concern in Aylesbury since January 2018. Previously, Weir held the role of fundraising marketing manager at Thomley and engaged in various freelance marketing initiatives focusing on digital and social media. A significant portion of Weir's career was spent at Akzo Nobel Decorative Coatings, where responsibilities included senior brand management for Dulux products, alongside brand development and public relations efforts. Additionally, Weir served as assistant director at the Department of Trade and Industry, overseeing influential panels aimed at shaping future policies in built environment and transport. Weir holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing and an Advanced Certificate in Marketing from CIM, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science from the University of Limerick.
