Abel Miranda

Abel Miranda has extensive experience in education, currently serving as a 9th grade World History Teacher and Middle School History Department Chair at North Raleigh Christian Academy since July 2012, where responsibilities include reviewing curriculum and integrating technology. Since June 2013, Abel has also held the position of NC and VA Regional Manager for YDS camps with Youth Digital, guiding students in app programming. Previous roles include Lead History Teacher at First Baptist School from January 2001 to June 2012, and a Chess Coach at Youth Enrichment League from April 2011 to April 2012, where Abel taught various subjects and led summer classes. Abel's educational background includes an ABD in Ed.D at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and master's and bachelor's degrees in History Teacher Education from Pensacola Christian College.
