David Cottrell

David Cottrell is the current treasurer at Youth Emerging Stronger. Prior to that, they were the managing director and interim chief financial officer at Force 10 Partners from March 2019 to April 2022. During their time at Force 10, they were responsible for the financial return of the company. David also worked on a restructuring assignment for Warrior Custom Golf, Inc. and Warrior Golf, LLC. which included taking full responsibility for the operations of 14 golf courses. Additionally, they were responsible for monthly operating reports to the court and asset sale due diligence. In 2021, they secured $1.9 million in PPP loans and capitalized on the Stimulus Legislation to secure Employee Retention Tax Credits.

David Cottrell has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business. David is also certified by the State of California as a Certified Public Accountant. In addition, they have received certification from ExecRank in corporate strategy and cybersecurity, financial reporting and SEC compliance, HIPAA compliance, and private company board governance.
