Laura-Jane Rawlings MBE has a diverse range of work experience spanning over two decades. Laura-Jane is the CEO of Youth Employment UK, a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing youth unemployment and supporting young people in progressing in their careers. Laura-Jane has been with the organization since its inception in 2012.
Additionally, Laura-Jane serves as the Secretariat for the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Youth Employment, working closely with members of both the House of Commons and House of Lords to address barriers to youth employment and find solutions. Laura-Jane has held this position since 2015.
Laura-Jane is also a Board Member of Youth Futures Foundation, starting in 2019 and expected to continue until July 2023.
In their earlier career, they were the Managing Director of Inspire2Exceed, an organization that delivered career education programs and emotional well-being courses across the UK from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they worked as an Employer Engagement Officer at Connexions NEWS and owned their own business, Iento Employment Solutions.
Laura-Jane also gained experience in account management at Source Consulting and worked in internal sales at Kingswell Data Management.
Laura-Jane Rawlings MBE pursued a degree in Life Coaching at UK Open Learning from 2010 to 2012.

Youth Employment UK is the leading youth employment expert in the UK. We have more than 250,000 page views a month on our website, many of which are by young people who are 14-24, who we serve with free skills and careers support. In addition we have over 450 employers, providers and Youth Friendly Employer Community Members; who we support with best practice, policy development, advice and guidance, training and networking opportunities so that they can support more young people into employment. We work closely with government departments including DfE, DWP, DCMS and are the Secretariat to the APPG for Youth Employment. Youth Employment UK is home to the Youth Friendly Employer Award, a national kitemark that recognises youth friendly employers.
