Christina Sessoms

Christina Sessoms, Ph.D., currently serves as the BAM-FI College & Career Program Manager at Youth Guidance since June 2022. Previously, Christina held multiple roles at the University of Maryland from August 2016 to June 2022, including Graduate Assistant in the University Career Center & President's Promise, Doctoral Career Consultant in The Graduate School, and Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of American Studies. Christina's experience includes monitoring student performance, redesigning course modules, engaging with doctoral students on career development, and teaching undergraduate courses. Earlier positions include Program Assistant at the College Success Foundation, Operations Manager at the American Association for Access, Equity, & Diversity, and College Coach at Harvard University. Christina holds a Ph.D. in American/United States Studies from the University of Maryland, along with an MA and a BA in the same field from the same institution and Washington State University, respectively.
